Wat Mae La Noi Attractions in Mae Hong Son Mae La Noi, Mae Lanoi, Mae Hong Son, affiliated with the Maha Nikaya sect, was officially established in 1912 (B.E. 2455) and granted the Wisungkhamsima royal consecration boundary in 1972 (B.E. 2515). The temple was recognized as an exemplary development temple in 1987 (B.E. 2530). The current abbot is Phra Khru Yannasampayut Yannasobhorn, the abbot of Wat Mae Lanoi.
The Phra That Wat Nuea, or Wat Mae Lanoi, features a Lanna-style stupa constructed using brick and mortar. It was built by Phra Kunna Wutho around 1961 (B.E. 2504), with the assistance of the chief mason, Nai Kan Ta Ma, and his assistant, Nai Chai Chaiprasit.
This stupa is a sacred site for the people of Mae Lanoi District, where they can pay their respects on important religious occasions. It is currently used for conducting village merit-making ceremonies.
