Wat Mae Koh Attractions in Mae Hong Son Mae Khatuan, Sop Moei, Mae Hong Son. Founded in 1977 (B.E. 2520) by Mr. Thanomsak Vanasiri, Mr. Niu Thongpradit, and Mr. Duangkhum Duangdet, the temple is currently led by Abbot Phra Athikan Suriyan, with the monastic title Panyawachiro. The temple is home to one monk and one novice.
The historical sites and structures include the monk's residence, built in 1977 (B.E. 2520); the first pavilion, constructed in 1986 (B.E. 2529); and the second pavilion, completed in 1989 (B.E. 2532).
The temple observes several traditional activities and ceremonies. The Maha Chat Sermon Festival takes place on the full moon of the twelfth month (Yi Peng). The Deun Si Peng tradition is celebrated in January, and the annual summer ordination of novices is held in April.
