Wat Ban Rai Attractions in Mae Hong Son Mae Sariang, Mae Sariang, Mae Hong Son. Wat Ban Rai, affiliated with the Maha Nikaya sect, occupies a land area of 6 rai and 1 ngan. The temple was established in 1942 (B.E. 2485) through the collective faith and effort of the residents of Ban Rai, Dong Songat, Huai Pu, and nearby villages. It received the Wisungkhamsima royal consecration boundary in 2013 (B.E. 2556).
The temple's development was supported by the Mae Sariang Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO). It is located in Village No. 5, along the Mae Sariang-Sop Moei-Mae Sot Road, near the reforestation project of the National Forest Conservation Area (Mae Yuam Left Forest Zone, Plot 2), the Mae Sariang Forestry Office, and Wat Ban Rai School.
The current abbot is Phra Athikan Suwit Sanutamano, a scholar of advanced Buddhist studies (Pali Level 9).
