Wat Pa Tham Wua was established on August 30, 1993 (BE 2536). Currently, Phra Ajahn Saiyut Panyatharo serves as the abbot.
Phra Khru Wimol Bhavana Nusorn (Luang Ta Saiyut) is both the abbot and a respected meditation teacher. The temple has gained significant recognition among meditation practitioners, both in Thailand and abroad, for its disciplined and structured approach to meditation.
