Wat Thung Muang Pon Attractions in Mae Hong Son Muang Pon, Khun Yuam, Mae Hong Son. The temple is located on the southern side of Muang Pon village, accessible from the Mae La Noi - Mae La Luang - Khun Yuam road. It is affiliated with the Dhammayutika Nikaya sect and covers an area of 17 rai.

 

The temple structures include 8 monks' residences (kuti), 12 restrooms, 1 sermon hall, 1 meditation hall, and 1 kitchen. The temple is situated 79 kilometers from Mae Hong Son Province and 13 kilometers from Khun Yuam District along the Khun Yuam - Mae Sariang road.

 

Wat Thung Muang Pon was officially established on April 18, 2003 (B.E. 2546) and received the Royal Decree of Wisungkhama Sima in 2006 (B.E. 2549). Currently, the abbot is Phra Kru Sangwon Thamphinan (Phra Ajahn Samrerng Uchu Charo).
