Wat Buppharam Fai Kaeo, Phu Pieng, Nan. Originally, it was an old temple known as Wat Saen Ta Hoi. In the past, it was located near the bank of the Nan River. Over time, the riverbank eroded and caused significant damage to the temple.
The abbot, together with the devoted residents of Ban Saen Ta Hoi at that time, united to relocate the temple to a new site its current location and changed its name to Wat Buppharam. The village was also renamed to Ban Buppharam.
The temple holds religious significance, particularly during the Songkran Festival. On April 17 each year, the faithful of Ban Buppharam hold a ceremony to bathe the image of Phra Chao Thong Thip Noi, as a blessing for themselves and their families, wishing for happiness and prosperity. Participants include Buddhist devotees from Ban Buppharam and neighboring villages.
