Wat Sop Han Nuea Attractions in Mae Hong Son Ban Kat, Mae Sariang, Mae Hong Son. Wat Sop Han Nuea is affiliated with the Mahanikaya sect. The temple is situated on a land area of 2 rai, 92.10 square wah, registered under Title Deed No. 5020, Book 51, Page 20.
 
The boundaries of the land are as follows: to the north, approximately 58.80 meters bordering a public road; to the south, approximately 70 meters bordering another public road; to the east, approximately 55.50 meters bordering the Yuam River; and to the west, approximately 57.80 meters bordering a public road. The temple’s structures include a vihara, a sermon hall, and monks' residences (kuti).
 
Wat Sop Han Nuea was established in 2463 BE (1920 CE). In terms of administration and governance, the earliest known abbot was Phra Daeng Sutthiko, who served from 2529 BE (1986 CE) onward. Following his tenure, Phra Apichai Apichayo has been acting as the abbot and overseeing the temple’s affairs to the present day.
 
Additionally, the temple serves as a hub for community development projects. It hosts a rice bank, a Royal Initiative Support Center under the Silapacheep project, and the Tambon Ban Kas Apot Center, further reinforcing its role as a community center.
