Wat Huai Ha Ban Hong, Ban Hong, Lamphun. Wat Huai Ha, under the Maha Nikaya Buddhist sect, is situated on a plot of land measuring 4 rai and 89 square wah, with an additional temple land of 2 ngan and 15 rai.
The temple was established in 1857 (B.E. 2400) on a piece of communal land measuring 2 rai and 2 ngan, with the support of local villagers who cleared the area and built temporary structures. Later, Phra Suwan Suwanno was appointed as the first abbot, and under his leadership, the temple underwent significant development. In 1976 (B.E. 2519), Phra Khru Rattanasarnsuthon, the abbot at the time, along with the local community, purchased an additional 1 rai, 2 ngan, and 89 square wah of land to expand the temple grounds.
Wat Huai Ha was granted its royal boundary (wisungkhamsima) on January 31, 1962 (B.E. 2505). Currently, Phra Nikhon Jantapachoto serves as the acting abbot.
The temple's facilities include an ordination hall, a vihara, a stupa, a multipurpose pavilion, and monks' quarters. It also serves as the location for the Sunday School of Buddhist Studies for the local community.
