Wat Pa Khan Ti Tham Ban Hong, Ban Hong, Lamphun. Wat Pa Khan Ti Tham, a public temple under the Maha Nikaya Buddhist sect, spans an area of 31 rai, 2 ngan, and 20 square wah.
The temple was officially established in 2001 (B.E. 2544) and received its royal boundary designation (wisungkhamsima) in 2007 (B.E. 2550). The current abbot is Phra Khru Phawan Anukit.
Initially, the land where Wat Pa Khan Ti Tham is now located was used by villagers for farming. In 1991 (B.E. 2534), Mr. Naow Mueanphu, the landowner, together with a group of devoted laypeople, offered 6 rai of land to the Sangha with the intention of establishing a temple.
Representing the Sangha, Phra Ajahn Lai Theepachammo (now Phra Khru Phawan Anukit) accepted the donation. A small monastery was set up with a thatched-roof pavilion and temporary monks’ residences.
The site underwent gradual development, and in 1993 (B.E. 2536), formal approval for the temple's establishment was sought. At the same time, permanent religious structures were constructed to support the monastic community and laypeople in their religious practices. Devout supporters also contributed additional land to expand the temple's grounds.
