Wat Thung Ped Thung Hua Chang, Thung Hua Chang, Lamphun. Wat Thung Ped was built in B.E. 2504 by the villagers from 40 households.

 

Before the temple was built, the villagers had to travel to Wat Nong Patueng, 2 k.m. away from the village, for merit making.

 

When the number of villagers increased, adults in the village helped out building the temple on a deserted land and invited Phra Singkham from Wat Huay to stay in the temple.

 

The temple was legally registered in B.E. 2535. Phra Narong Siriwanno from Wat Thung Hua Chang has been invited to live in the temple since then until now.
