Siriphum Waterfall is located amidst the stunning natural beauty of Ban Khun Klang, Ban Luang Subdistrict, Chiang Mai Province, within Doi Inthanon National Park. It is one of the most popular tourist spots for nature lovers, featuring two streams of water flowing down steep cliffs, which can be seen from a distance, creating a spectacular sight.

Originally known as "Laoli Waterfall" after the name of the head of a nearby Hmong village, the waterfall is sometimes referred to as the "Two Brothers Waterfall" due to the two streams flowing side by side, a characteristic that makes this location stand out.

At the base of the waterfall lies the Siriphum Royal Garden, a beautifully landscaped area with a diverse range of plant species, particularly rare ferns and mosses from across the country. This garden is home to over 50 genera and 140 species of ferns, including unique varieties like tree ferns, black-stemmed ferns, and radiate ferns. The garden is managed under the Royal Project of Doi Inthanon Development Center, with the goal of conserving these valuable plants and providing an educational experience for visitors on plant conservation.

Visitors to Siriphum Waterfall can enjoy the 600-meter-long nature trail, where they can observe the various plant species, particularly ferns and mosses, along the way. The trail provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature while learning about the conservation of rare plants. The walk also offers a beautiful view of the surrounding forest and the waterfall, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts.

How to Get There Siriphum Waterfall is located about 92 kilometers from Chiang Mai city. To reach the waterfall, take Highway 108 (Chiang Mai-Hod Road) and drive to kilometer 58. Before reaching the town of Chom Thong, turn right onto the Chom Thong-Doi Inthanon Road (Highway 1009). Between kilometers 31 and 32, you'll find a turning to the right, leading to a 2-kilometer road that brings you to the starting point of the nature trail, which leads to Siriphum Waterfall.

Siriphum Waterfall is a place of exceptional natural beauty, with its twin cascades, the Siriphum Royal Garden full of rare plants, and the educational nature trail. It is a must-visit destination for those seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature while learning about plant conservation. Whether you're a nature lover, a photographer, or simply someone looking to enjoy the serenity of the forest, Siriphum Waterfall is the perfect place to visit.
