Wat Sala Luang Bon Moo 4, Tha Bon Subdistrict, Ranot District, Songkhla Province, was built as a temple since April 11, 1889, during the reign of King Rama V. of Rattanakosin, with Mr. Sang Sangsinchai and Mrs. Duang Raksarat donated the land to build a temple.
It was originally called "Wat Sala Luang" later there was another temple located in the lower part called "Wat Sala Luang Lang", this temple is called. "Wat Sala Luang Bon" so that the names of the temples are not synonymous Wat Sala Luang Bon Was granted Wisung Kham Sima on 6 March 1929 Wisung Kham Sima District, width 40 meters, length 60 meters.
Has tied Phatthasima on May 1, 1932. Regarding education, originally the temple opened Wat Sala Luang School on April 5, 1929 by relying on the Sala Luang Temple Monastery Hall as a place of study. and has always provided reasonable support.
