Wat Khonka Charoen It is an old temple that is not less than 200 years old, formerly known as "Wat Chod". Priest of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province Phra Sri Thammaprasat was the founder. and is the enshrined place of Phra Phuttha Si Thammarat Ganga Charoen

 

which is one of two Buddha images that exist in Thailand It is a Buddha image in Sukhothai style. Height from base to radius 3.14 meters. Height from Buddha image to radius 12.90 meters. Weight 900 kilograms. The Thai Red Cross Society has created. and asked for a name from Somdej Phra Yannasangwon Somdej Phra Sangkharat Sakonmahasangha Parinayok who has bestowed the name.
