Kathun Reservoir It is one of the royal projects of His Majesty the King. Located at Tambon Kathun, Amphoe Phipun, His Highness foresaw the misery of the villagers who had to suffer the great loss of floods in 1988. To get there: From the city of Nakhon Si Thammarat, a distance of about 100 km., take Highway No. 4016 and turn left at Ban Tan Intersection to Highway No. 4015, passing Chang Klang District. Then turn right to Chandi Subdistrict.
