Wat Prang Won Nakhon, Pua, Nan. Wat Ratsadorn (a monastery of the Mahanikaya sect) was officially established in 1687 and was granted the royal boundary (Visungkhamsima) in 1941.

 

Phra That Bunnak is an ancient stupa whose exact date of construction is unknown, but it is believed to have been built during the 17th or 18th century. The stupa features a distinctive bell-shaped structure that closely resembles Phra That Mak Mo, located at Wat Visounnarath in Luang Prabang, suggesting that both may share a common architectural influence. This stupa has been registered as an ancient monument by the Fine Arts Department of Thailand.

 

The Dik Dium Tree is a unique tree located within the temple grounds. It leans toward the main vihara (ordination hall), but its most unusual feature is that when touched, its leaves begin to shake—an extraordinary phenomenon that has turned this tree into a local tourist attraction, officially recognized as an Unseen Thailand site.

 

Getting there: From Nan Province, take Highway 1080 and then Highway 1256 to reach Pua District. Before reaching the town center, turn left at a junction to enter Wat Prang, which is the location of the Dik Dium Tree.
