Wat Na Lueang Muang Khwa Nam Kaen, Phu Pieng, Nan. Wat Na Lueang Muang Khwa was established on March 10, 2002. It is affiliated with the Mahanikaya sect and covers an area of 6 rai, 2 ngan, and 42 square wah. The temple is bordered to the north by the village, to the south by public land and the village, to the east by public land and Ban Na Lueang Muang Khwa School, and to the west by a public pond.
The temple is situated at the center of the village. The land for its construction was donated by Mr. Kaew Ngernplang and Mr. Urai Muenkhamrueang, who was the village headman at the time. He sought permission to establish the temple, which was officially granted the royal Wisungkhamsima (ordination boundary) on March 18, 1987.
At present, the temple consists of one vihara, one kuti (monk’s residence), one bell tower, and one sermon hall. It is fully enclosed by a sturdy boundary wall on all four sides. The temple serves as a significant spiritual center for the villagers, nurturing their moral and spiritual values.
