Wat Mai Hung Attractions in Mae Hong Son Huai Pong, Muang Mae Hong Son, Mae Hong Son. Belonging to the Maha Nikaya Order, the temple occupies an area of 1 rai, 3 ngan, and 65 square wah (approximately 2,660 square meters) with the land deed No. 102 (Nor Sor 3).
The northern boundary is adjacent to a public road, the southern boundary to private land, the eastern boundary to a public road, and the western boundary to Ban Mai Hung School. The temple buildings include a sermon hall, a multipurpose pavilion, and a school building for monastic studies. Sacred objects within the temple include Buddha images and a pagoda.
Wat Mai Hung was established in 1894 (BE 2437) by the village headmen, Mr. Kung Ma and Mr. Kan Saeng, who initiated its construction. The current abbot of the temple is Phra Bamphen Khemiyo.
