Wat Pratu Muang Attractions in Mae Hong Son Mae Ngao, Khun Yuam, Mae Hong Son. Wat Pratu Mueang belongs to the Mahanikaya Order and is situated on a land area of 3 rai and 31 square wah.
The temple's boundaries are as follows: to the north, it borders approximately 2 sen and 17 wa, adjacent to a village; to the south, it borders approximately 1 sen and 15 wa, adjacent to private land; to the east, it borders approximately 2 sen and 6 wa, adjacent to a public road; and to the west, it borders approximately 1 sen and 3 wa, adjacent to a mountain.
The temple's buildings include a sermon hall. Wat Pratu Mueang was established in 1970 (BE 2513). In terms of administration and leadership, Phra Ruen Visutho has been the abbot since 1978 (BE 2521).
Wat Pratu Mueang is a temple that showcases artwork related to the history of the Buddha and features hand-painted curtains depicting the traditions of the "Poi Sang Long" ceremony (ordination of young boys). Another important note is that in 1958, the route leading to this temple was also a trade route that connected to Myanmar, serving as a path for the exchange of goods.
