Wat Rong Chang Tha Tum, Pa Sang, Lamphun. Wat Rong Chang, affiliated with the Maha Nikaya monastic sect, occupies an area of 10 rai, 1 ngan, and 30 square wah. Its structures include an ordination hall (ubosot), a vihara, a sermon hall, monk residences, and a dining pavilion. Sacred objects include a wooden Buddha image in the "Mara Vichaya" posture, a standing wooden Buddha image, a reclining wooden Buddha image, a rain-asking deity statue, a stupa, and a Burmese Buddha image in the "Mara Vichaya" posture.

Wat Rong Chang was established in 1804 CE (B.E. 2347). The area where the temple now stands was once a dense forest inhabited by numerous elephants. Over time, as herds of elephants moved along the same paths to forage, their trails turned into water channels that flowed year-round.

Later, people discovered the area's fertility and began settling there, clearing the forest for habitation. As the population grew, the community became a village named Ban Rong Chang. The villagers collectively established a temple, naming it after their village. Originally called Wat Saraphi Chai Rong Chang, the temple was officially granted the status of a royal temple (Visungkaama Sima) on November 10, 1972 (B.E. 2515).
