Wat Huai Nam Dip Ban Hong, Ban Hong, Lamphun. Wat Huai Nam Dip, under the Maha Nikaya Buddhist sect, occupies a plot of land measuring 9 rai and 50 square wah, with an additional piece of temple land spanning 13 rai, 3 ngan. The temple's facilities include an ordination hall, monks' quarters, and a sermon hall. Its sacred objects include the principal Buddha image made of brick and stucco, as well as other Buddha images.

 

Wat Huai Nam Dip was established in 1906 (B.E. 2449) by Phra Chaiya of Wat Ban Hong Luang, who initiated its construction. The temple received its royal boundary (wisungkhamsima) on February 3, 1950 (B.E. 2493).

 

In terms of administration and governance, the known abbots include Phra Chaiya (1906–1927), Phra Intha Intavangso (1927–1938), Phra Kham Khambhīro (1938–1943), Phra Maha Suthearn Aggapanyo (1951–1965), and Phra Khru Thanong Dhammavadi (1965–present). Currently, the abbot is Phra Palad Wichai.

 

Wat Huai Nam Dip houses a reading area for newspapers and has established a Youth Farmers’ Club to engage and educate the village's youth.
