Wat Thung Thong Village No. 1, Thung Phong Sub-district, is a temple of the Mon people for more than 200 years, and is the only temple in Uthai Thani province where the church and the principal Buddha image are facing west. It was probably the intention of the creator who wanted to face the Mon City.
