Cyber Waterfall, also known locally as Hin Lad Waterfall, is a stunning natural attraction under the care of the Cyber Forest Protection Unit. It is located near Ban Cyber, Ban Sap Mae Bue, in Khok Khwai Subdistrict, Huai Khot District, Uthai Thani Province, approximately 86 kilometers from the provincial capital. This waterfall is formed by the Loi Joi Stream, which originates from the high mountains within the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary, creating cascading waterfalls across multiple tiers. The upper section of the waterfall is called Loi Joi Waterfall.
In some areas, the water plunges from great heights, crashing onto large rocks, forming what is known as Hin Lad Waterfall. Below, there are large basins that continuously receive the falling water. In other sections, the water meanders through rocky islets, descending in a long, multi-level path that offers breathtaking views. The waterfall has its highest flow from September to early November, when the Loi Joi Stream merges with the Thap Salao Stream. The surrounding area is rich with rattan forests and dense trees, and in November, visitors can enjoy the vibrant colors of changing leaves.
Accommodation and facilities include one guesthouse that can accommodate 20-30 people. There is no food service, so visitors must bring their own supplies. Access to the area requires a permit from the wildlife sanctuary management, as it is within the jurisdiction of the Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. For more information, visitors can contact +66 2561 4292-3 ext. 765.
Traveling to Cyber Waterfall requires careful planning. From Highway 3282 at kilometer 30, turn onto a 7-kilometer road, then continue on foot for 900 meters. The entrance path is a dirt road with sharp stones, and travelers must cross several streams along the way. During the rainy season (August–October), regular vehicles cannot pass, so a strong 4x4 vehicle is recommended. For public transportation, take the Ban Rai–Khlong Haeng bus from Ban Rai Market, get off at Ban Thong Lang at kilometer 19, and then hire a local songthaew to reach the waterfall.
Cyber Waterfall offers visitors a serene and refreshing experience, with cool flowing water, rock formations, and cascading tiers surrounded by lush forest. Visitors can enjoy hiking, photography, relaxation by the water basins, and even wading in some calmer sections of the waterfall, while always taking care around steep and slippery rocks.
The surrounding environment is highly biodiverse, with a variety of plant species and vital water sources for wildlife inhabiting the area. The waterfall contributes to maintaining the forest ecosystem, making it an ideal location for learning about nature and environmental conservation.
With its combination of scenic beauty, tranquility, and ecological significance, Cyber Waterfall is one of Uthai Thani’s premier natural attractions. Visitors can experience adventure, marvel at multi-tiered waterfalls, enjoy the lush forest environment, and feel a genuine connection with nature.
