Wat Toei Phra Ngam, Phrom Buri, Sing Buri. Wat Toei is a temple that dates back to the Ayutthaya period but had fallen into ruin over time. It was later reconstructed around 1882 (BE 2425). The area surrounding the temple was once abundant with pandan plants (locally known as "Toei"), which inspired the temple's name.
Getting There From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 and turn onto Road No. 32 (Asia Highway). Pass through Ayutthaya and Ang Thong provinces until you are about to enter Sing Buri Province (around kilometer marker 119). Turn left and cross the bridge over the Chao Phraya River near Wat Chaiyo Worawihan (Wat Luang Pho To Maha Phuttha Phim).
From there, turn right and follow the road along the irrigation canal (Chai Nat-Ang Thong route) for another 6 kilometers. At the intersection near the Kratum Phrong Bridge, turn right and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. Wat Toei will be on your right-hand side.
