At the area of the head office of the Huai Mak Liem Watershed Management Unit Doi Hang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province Which has been approved to use the said area from the Royal Forest Department on May 10, 2002.
The area of the Nam Kok National Park is approximately 458,110 rai or 732.98 square kilometers. The topographical features of the Kok River National Park are steep and interspersed with narrow plains. The valley area is a small patch.
