Stamford International University (Bangkok Campus)
Named after Sir Stamord Raffles (1781-1826), the great English colonial administrator, historian and educator, Stamford International University opened it's first campus in thailand in 1995, near Palm Hills Golf Resort, Hua-Hin.
To meet the growing demand for international education in Thailand and the ASEAN region, Stamford International University opened its second campus in Bangkok in 2009. Conveniently located along the new Bangkok Airport Link rail line, it is home to a truly international community of students from 68 countries around the world.
During its 18 years of establishment, Stamford has continued to offer high-standard international education to Thai and international students from over 68 countries throughout the world. Stamford has recently become a partner of the Laureate International Universities.
As a partner of the global network of more than 75 institutions in 30 countries and online serving more than 800,000 students, Stamford gained access to global teaching and learning resources; Students will also have more study abroad opportunities.
Stamford is growing fast and expansion plans are underway. With its Bangkok campus expansion set to be completed in June 2013, we’re building cutting-edge facilities that will house high-tech classrooms, laboratories for practical learning, collaborative spaces, a new cafeteria, faculty offices and will accommodate an additional 1,000 students.
To accommodate more students and provide greater convenience to teaching and learning, Stamford International University has now opened its new building at the Bangkok campus. The new building provide cutting-edge facilities, housing high-tech classrooms, laboratories, collaborative learning space, and a new cafeteria.
