Wat Tha Tor It is located at 27 Village No. 3, Tha To Subdistrict, Maharat District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Formerly known as "Wat Intharam" with an area of 29 rai 1 ngan, which was built around 2300 B.E.
But the temple has an area adjacent to Khlong Bang Kaeo which has a lot of tree stumps, especially Takhian tree stumps. People traveling by boat tend to stick to that stump. Therefore, this temple is called "Wat Tha To" since then, since the past as many elders told me that there are 12 abbots from the past to the present.
