Wat Ban Pae was built in 1907 and located at Moo.4 Ban Pae Village, Tambon Banpae, Ampur Jomthong, Chiang Mai Province.
 
This temple is affiliated with mahanikai (a sect of Buddha) and Prakru Sujitpanyarat is an abbot of this temple. There was an inscription mentioned by Pranang Wisutthidhewi.
 
Pranang Wisutthidhewi said this temple is guarded by Lua people (this way would protect Lua people from being under colonial to another kingdom.) There are also Library, and Ban Pa Pae public school located near by this temple.
