The market is divided into two sections. The front area consists of permanent shops open throughout the day, selling clothing and daily necessities. The inner section is a traditional fresh market with low wooden stalls, active mainly in the early morning, offering fresh vegetables, meat, and river fish.

 

One of the highlights is the variety of local vegetables and forest products, including wild mushrooms, banana stems, and regional herbs. These ingredients reflect the rich natural environment of Mae Hong Son.

 

The market is also known for freshwater fish from the Salawin River, such as catfish and carp, which are highly valued for their freshness and natural flavor.

Getting There is easy by car. From Mae Sariang intersection, head toward Wat Chong Sung, then turn left onto Sarit Phon Road. The market is on the left.
