Mae Saked Luang Waterfall is a hidden natural attraction in Mae Hong Son Province, located in a lush forest area of Pha Bong Subdistrict. This small waterfall offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for travelers seeking quiet nature escapes away from crowded tourist spots.

 

The waterfall is situated within the Mae Surin National Park protection unit area and is surrounded by dense forest with high biodiversity. Water flows continuously throughout the year, although it becomes gentler during the dry season. The clean stream and calm surroundings make it suitable for relaxing and light swimming.

 

The waterfall has three levels. The first and second tiers are located close together, with the second tier approximately 10 meters high. Water flows through narrow rock gaps into a small basin below. The first tier is about 5 meters high, while the third tier, located further uphill, reaches around 15 meters in height.

 

One of the main highlights is its tranquility. Since it is not widely known, visitors can enjoy a quiet and private atmosphere. Camping is also available, with a fee of 30 THB per person per night, making it an attractive destination for outdoor enthusiasts.

 

Getting There requires taking Highway 108 from Mae Hong Son city toward Khun Yuam. Turn left toward Ban Hua Mae Saked between kilometer markers 259-258, then drive approximately 2.5 km to the park checkpoint. From there, continue on a dirt road for about 1.5 km before parking and walking another 500 meters to reach the waterfall.
