If summarized simply, Ban Mon Village originated from the migration of four Mon families from Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, who settled in this area after discovering a rich source of high-quality clay. This clay was highly suitable for making large earthen jars, which became the foundation of the community’s main occupation and identity.

 

Over time, pottery-making developed into a key livelihood for the villagers. The availability of natural resources, combined with inherited craftsmanship, allowed the community to grow and establish a reputation as one of the important earthenware production areas in Nakhon Sawan.

Today, pottery products are no longer limited to traditional water jars.
