Royal Initiative Agricultural Development Station (Phu Phayak) Formerly known as Phu Pha Yak, on the top of the mountain is a beautiful rocky cliff. It is an evergreen forest and a grove of tigers. Therefore, it is called Phu Phayak. It is about 1,500 meters above sea level. It used to be an opium-growing area for hill tribe people. Before 1980, it was a battlefield. between Thai soldiers and communist terrorists.
Currently, Phu Phayak has changed from a battlefield.
