The dam is 7.8 meters long and 8 meters wide. Water storage is 1.430 million cubic meters. Created to alleviate flooding and to agriculture in particular. It is also a breeding ground for fish.
Travel: Take Highway 213 (Kalasin - Mahasarakham). Km 33-34 turn right into Lam Pao Dam. Along the paved road 26 km.
