Pa Tueng Hot Spring, also known as Huai Hin Fon Hot Spring, is a natural geothermal attraction located in Pa Tueng Subdistrict, Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province. It is conveniently situated along Highway 1089 (Mae Chan – Fang Road), making it an ideal roadside stop for travelers heading toward Doi Mae Salong.

This hot spring is notable for its powerful natural geyser, where hot water shoots up to approximately 10 meters into the air. The temperature ranges between 70 and 109 degrees Celsius, making it one of the hottest geothermal sites in the region.

The area has been developed into a small landscaped park where visitors can relax, enjoy fresh air, and safely observe the geothermal activity. It serves as a convenient rest stop for drivers and tourists traveling long distances in northern Thailand.

There are multiple mineral pools with different temperatures, including hot, warm, and cool water zones. These are arranged systematically to allow safe interaction and provide a relaxing experience.

Traditionally, local people believe that bathing in mineral water can help relieve muscle pain and improve skin conditions. While these benefits are not fully scientifically proven, the experience itself is refreshing and enjoyable.

The site previously included bathing facilities such as standard and VIP rooms, soaking baths, and bathing areas. However, some of these facilities are currently under renovation and may not be fully operational.

Managed by the Pa Tueng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the hot spring continues to be maintained as a local tourist attraction and rest stop along a major travel route.
