Think grilled river prawns, steamed blue crab, fresh oysters, and stir-fried squid with salted egg yolk. A visit here isn’t only about views; it’s also about that easy, seaside meal that many travelers end up talking about afterward.

 

Getting to Koh Loy is straightforward. From Bangkok, it’s roughly 1.5 hours by car on Motorway 7. Public transport options bus, van, or train bring you into Sriracha, and from there it’s a short hop by songthaew or taxi to the bridge. Once you’re across, everything is walkable: the park, the turtle area, the stairs to the temple, the viewpoints, and the simple seating that invites you to linger.

 

Small as it is, Koh Loy carries a lot of meaning. It’s a spiritual anchor, a green public space, and a handy jumping-off point to Koh Sichang.
