Getting There from Loei city is straightforward by private car, rental car, or tour vehicle. Take Highway 203 on the Loei-Phu Ruea route for about 54 kilometers. Turn right around kilometer markers 49-50 near Phu Ruea District Office, then continue for about 4 kilometers to the national park office. From the summit parking area, walk about 700 meters to reach Phu Ruea Peak. Travelers coming from Phetchabun, Lom Sak, or Dan Sai can also use Highway 203 toward Phu Ruea. The park entrance is near the district office area.
