Ngao Mangrove Forest Research Centre is located some 19 km. from Ranong, southward along Highway 4 between Km. 626-627, with a right turn into an asphalt road for another 5 km. near the Ngao Sub-district Municipality Office.

 

The Ngao Mangrove Forest Research Centre is the birthplace and home for young offspring of many species of marine life before they are strong enough to live on their own in the open sea. Hence, it has been declared a World Biosphere Reserve Zone by UNESCO.
