Phu Pha Lek National Park It covers the area of Song Dao District. Waritchaphum District Nikhom Nam Un District, Kut Bak District, Sakon Nakhon Province, Sam Mo District, Udon Thani Province and Somdet District, Kham Muang District, Kalasin Province, with an area of 261,875 rai.
The topography is part of the Phu Phan Mountain Range. The highest mountain is Phu Ang Sor. The forest condition is dipterocarp forest, mixed deciduous forest, dry evergreen forest, various types of bamboo, and various types of herbs. Wildlife seen include wild boars, barking deer, deer, birds of different kinds, attractions on the top of Phu Pha Lek, especially around the cliffs. Song Dao can use a car to go up the road from the National Park Office. Reach the starlight tower, a distance of 5.5 kilometers and take a walking path to the tourist spot. Pha Suriyan is a high cliff on the highest peak of Phu Pha Lek. It is a beautiful viewpoint. and is a point to watch the sunrise in the morning.
Pha Dong Ko is a high cliff on the top of Phu Pha Lek, the highest peak of the Phu Phan Mountain Range. a large stone Laying on the edge of a cliff that seems to have dropped downwards If you stand on this mountain, you will see the intricate mountain ranges of Phu Phan. and can see Phu Pha Hak, Phu Mai, and Phu Sakak in Wang Sam Mo district of Udon Thani Province.
Pha Nam Chok is a high cliff at the top of Phu Pha Lek. You can see Huai Huat Reservoir. and overlooking the scenery of Udon Thani Khon Kaen Province.
Prehistoric painting at Pha Phak Wan Located at Ban Phu Ta Kham, Tha Sila Subdistrict, 18 kilometers from the park office, is an ancient painting, about 3,600 years old, on a large rock as a characteristic picture. It's like women standing in a row, holding their hands on their shoulders.
Usa Sawan courtyard It is a flat area on the top of Phu Pha Lek. Dinosaur cemetery Located in the middle of Phu Pha Lek Mountain, Song Dao District, Sakon Nakhon Province and at the edge of Phu Phan Forest, Kham Muang District, Kalasin Province It looks like a petrified animal bone. Many millions of years old Some are still buried in rocks and soil. Some are plant fossils, such as petrified wood.
The Song Dao Tower is located on the top of the Iron Mountain, approximately 700 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views. The observatory is a place to study the stars at night. Can see the phenomenon of meteor shower very clearly.

To get there, take Highway No. 22 (Sakon Nakhon-Udon Thani) until reaching the 95th kilometer marker, turn right onto the Ban Tai-Don Som Hong Road. Arrive at Ban Phon Sawang Intersection At the 17th kilometer marker, turn right along the road Ban Phon Sawang - Phu Pha Lek route for another 6 kilometers, you will reach the Phu Pha Lek National Park Office.
