Ban Nam Hu Hai Jai is a small cultural village located in Mae Hong Son Province, northern Thailand. The village originated from a group of settlers who separated due to religious differences. A key figure, Nai Sang Pang, chose Christianity, leading some villagers to relocate and eventually establish this community in 1969.

 

Today, the village consists of only 12 households with 49 residents, maintaining a traditional lifestyle deeply connected to nature and local beliefs.

 

The name of the village comes from a cave where water flows in and out like breathing, creating a distinctive natural phenomenon.
