Tham Phet Cave is located in Ban Mae Lana, Pang Mapha District, Mae Hong Son Province. This natural limestone cave is one of the most unique attractions in northern Thailand, famous for its sparkling mineral formations that resemble diamonds.

The cave stretches approximately 300 meters and features impressive chambers filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Many of these formations resemble the base of mountain pine trees, making the cave visually distinctive and geologically interesting.

The highlight of the cave is the glittering mineral surfaces that reflect light beautifully. When illuminated, the formations sparkle like diamonds, creating a magical underground atmosphere.

The cave was formed through limestone erosion over millions of years, making it part of a karst landscape. It provides an excellent opportunity for visitors to learn about geological processes while enjoying a peaceful natural setting.

Getting There From Mae Hong Son town, travel about 83 km to Pang Mapha District, then continue to Ban Mae Lana village. The route is mountainous but scenic.
