Wat Mae Na Toeng Nai is a historic temple located in Mae Na Toeng Subdistrict, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province. It reflects the deep-rooted faith and traditional Lanna-Thai Yai cultural heritage that continues to be preserved by the local community. The temple is situated at 91 Moo 2, Mae Na Toeng Subdistrict, Pai District, Mae Hong Son. It belongs to the Maha Nikaya sect. Originally, the temple land covered approximately 1 rai, 1 ngan, and 60 square wah.

The temple boundaries are defined by natural waterways and local land plots, including Huai Nam Toeng and surrounding agricultural areas, reflecting its integration with the local landscape.

Key structures within the temple include the viharn, monks’ residences, alms hall, multipurpose pavilion, nun residence, kitchen, and a traditional Thai-style pavilion. The temple houses important sacred objects, including Thai Yai-style Buddha images made from local cotton fabric and lacquered with gold leaf.

The temple was established in 1916 (B.E. 2459). Originally located slightly south of its current position under the name Wat Sri Bun Rueang, the original temple was destroyed by fire. The current temple site was later developed with the leadership of local figures including Chao Photichai Srivichai and village headman Tui Kaewsuta.
