Kaeng Ko, Lamphun is a large river basin located in Ko Subdistrict, Li District, Lamphun Province. It is formed by the confluence of Mae Ko stream and the Ping River, creating a vast water expanse surrounded by mountains and limestone cliffs.

 

The destination is well known for its peaceful atmosphere and scenic landscapes. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the river stretching through mountainous terrain, making it an ideal place for relaxation and nature tourism.

 

One of the most popular activities is staying on floating raft houses. These accommodations offer a unique experience where guests can sleep above the water while enjoying the quiet surroundings and fresh air.

 

Boat tours are another highlight, allowing visitors to explore the river and admire limestone formations along both sides. Some cliffs show natural erosion patterns, including formations resembling stalactites and stalagmites.

 

The route also includes several attractions such as Um Pad Waterfall, Chang Rong Cave, Phra Non Cliff, Tao Cliff, Wat Phra That Kaeng Soi, and Bholom Footprint. The journey can extend toward the Bhumibol Dam area.

 

Getting There involves traveling to Li District and continuing to Ko Subdistrict, followed by a boat transfer to the raft area.
