Wat Thung Man Pa Phlu, Ban Hong, Lamphun. Wat Thung Man, under the Maha Nikaya sect, occupies a plot of land measuring 5 rai and 1 square wah. The temple’s facilities include an ordination hall, a vihara, a sermon hall, monks’ quarters, a principal Buddha image, and a stupa.
The temple was established in 1826 (B.E. 2369) and received its royal boundary (wisungkhamsima) on October 30, 1936 (B.E. 2479). Notable abbots include Khruba Chuen Kandhiko and Khruba Kaew Ubali. The current abbot is Phra Khru Wiwiththamathada.
Wat Thung Man is a significant temple in Pa Phlu Subdistrict. It serves as a center for Dhamma practice, a community training unit, and the location of the Thai Cultural Community Integration Project. The temple also organizes annual summer ordination programs.
