Khao To Mor is located in Klat Luang Subdistrict, Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province. It lies within the Khao Krapuk–Khao To Mor Non-Hunting Area, officially established on February 8, 1999. The mountain rises approximately 240 meters above sea level and features classic limestone karst formations. Inside the mountain is a cave system descending about 100 meters from the cave entrance to its deepest point, filled with numerous stalactites and stalagmites. The area is also home to protected wildlife species, including the red-faced stump-tailed macaque.
The surrounding landscape includes the Klat Luang Reservoir, which enhances the scenic beauty of the area. The calm water reflects the limestone mountain and the sky, especially during early morning and late afternoon. This makes Khao To Mor ideal for sightseeing, nature study, and landscape photography. However, as the site is part of a non-hunting wildlife sanctuary, visitors must strictly follow regulations. Feeding wildlife, making loud noises, or entering restricted zones is prohibited to protect both the ecosystem and visitor safety.
Getting There From Phetchaburi city center, take Highway No. 4 (Phetkasem Road) toward Tha Yang District, then continue toward Klat Luang Subdistrict. The distance from the city center is approximately 35 kilometers. A private vehicle is recommended for convenience. Some sections of the road are steep or unpaved, so careful driving is advised.
