Huai Rong Waterfall (Huai Long Waterfall) is a natural attraction in Phrae Province, located about 60 kilometers north of Phrae town. Visitors can travel along Highway 101, the Phrae–Rong Kwang route. At kilometer marker 78, turn left and continue for about 4 kilometers to reach the waterfall area. This destination remains a peaceful retreat where nature is still beautifully preserved.

 

Huai Rong Waterfall is a medium-sized waterfall with 2 natural tiers. Water flows gently over natural rock formations, creating a beautiful curtain of water. During the rainy season, when the water volume is higher, the waterfall becomes especially impressive, with continuous streams and the refreshing sound of falling water throughout the area.

 

The highlight of this waterfall is its surrounding environment. The area is covered by open forest with large trees and abundant natural vegetation, giving it a cool and shady atmosphere. Getting There is straightforward by taking Highway 101 from Phrae town toward Rong Kwang District. At kilometer marker 78, look for the left turn, then continue for about 4 kilometers to the waterfall. The final stretch may be a rural road, so traveling by private car is recommended for convenience.

 

Visitors should prepare suitable shoes for walking on damp ground, as well as drinking water and essential supplies, since facilities around the waterfall are still limited. Helping to keep the area clean and leaving no trash behind will help preserve the beauty of this natural attraction for the future.
