Wat Si Bun Rueang is an old community temple in Chiang Klang District, Nan Province. Built during the Rattanakosin period around 1817, the temple was formerly known by local villagers as “Wat Sop Kon.” Later, after a new viharn was constructed, the temple’s name was changed to Wat Si Bun Rueang, the name used today. The temple remains an important spiritual center for the local community and reflects the quiet, authentic character of temple life in northern Nan.
