Wat Thong Luang is located at No. 185, Ban Thong Luang, Kong Khwai Subdistrict, Mueang Nan District, Nan Province. It is affiliated with the Maha Nikaya monastic sect. The temple grounds cover an area of 1 rai, 2 ngan, and 38 square wah (approximately 0.6 acres). The monastic structures include an ordination hall (ubosot) and monks’ residences (kuti). A principal sacred object housed within the temple is the main Buddha image.
The temple’s boundaries are as follows: to the north, approximately 1 sen 10 wa (about 230 meters), bordering a watercourse; to the south, approximately 1 sen 10 wa, adjacent to private land; to the east, approximately 2 sen 10 wa (about 410 meters), adjacent to private land; and to the west, approximately 2 sen 10 wa, adjacent to a road and pathway. There is also one parcel of monastic land (throni song) with an area of 1 rai, 3 ngan, and 26 square wah (approximately 0.7 acres).
