Wat Tha Lo Fai Kaeo, Phu Pieng, Nan. The temple belongs to the Maha Nikaya sect and covers a total area of approximately 5 rai and 72 square wah. Wat Tha Lo is believed to have been built around 1347 CE (B.E. 1890). It was granted the royal boundary (Wisungkhamsima) on September 24, 1925.

The temple features several important ancient structures, such as the Vihara (assembly hall) of Wat Tha Lo, the Wat Tha Lo Chedi (stupa), and the "Bua Khao" Buddha footprint. An annual tradition of worshipping the Wat Tha Lo Chedi is held regularly on the 14th waxing moon of the 7th lunar month (April).

There are no records of the temple’s original construction. Its main ancient monument is a bell-shaped stupa. The base comprises three tiers of large square platforms, supporting a decorative lotus base, moldings known as “ok kai” (chicken breast curve), and a garland motif (malai thao), each layer spaced more widely than usual. The bell-shaped body is slender and elegant, topped with a thammat base, a spire, and a multi-tiered finial.

The Fine Arts Department registered Wat Tha Lo as a historical site in the Royal Gazette, Volume 61, Part 65, dated October 24, 1944, and later officially designated its boundary in Volume 97, Part 159, dated October 14, 1980.
