Kaeng Salad Dai Waterfall is located in Moo 8, Bufai Subdistrict, Prachantakham District, Prachinburi Province. It is a natural rocky rapid amid an open forest. The water rushes strongly during the rainy season and becomes calm, forming clear pools during other times. The atmosphere is tranquil, ideal for walking and relaxing in nature.

The area around the waterfall consists of hills and open forest, with trees scattered enough to let wind and sunlight pass through, creating dappled shade on wide rock terraces. Clear water flows down cascading rock layers, forming alternating shallow and deep pools. Visitors usually swim only in safe and less rapid areas.

The terrain here features collapsed sandstone layers forming wide rock terraces arranged in three steps. Water splashes white in each tier, creating different sceneries in each season. At the end of the rainy season, the water current is clear and moderate. In the dry season, many spots become calm, revealing rock beds and fine sand sediments.

Due to its natural value, Kaeng Salad Dai Waterfall has been recognized as a natural site worth preserving. It helps conserve biodiversity and serves as a natural learning site for communities and visitors. Visitors are encouraged not to litter, damage vegetation, and to respect area regulations.

Traveling here is convenient from Prachinburi city. Take Highway 3452 (Prachinburi–Prachanta Kham Road) for about 16 km, then turn into a local road leading to Takhro Waterfall entrance. From there, walk about 2 km further to Kaeng Salad Dai. The trail consists of soil and rocks, with some steep and slippery sections, especially after rain. Good grip shoes and drinking water are recommended.

The recommended season is during and after the rainy season (July–October), when the water is abundant and the forest is lush. For a quieter and safer swimming experience, avoid heavy rain days and periods of strong flood currents.
