Another commonly described route is to travel northeast from Amnat Charoen town along Arun Prasert Road, then turn left at the Lao Phruan junction onto the Lao Phruan–Chanuman secondary road before continuing toward Phu Sing.

 

The main cave, Tham Saeng Kaeo, is located on the northern side of Phu Sing. It is about 5 meters deep and has a fairly wide entrance. A hermit statue stands near the cave entrance, while a Buddha image is enshrined inside on the right side. On the left side, local signs and stories describe the emergence of two crystal balls in this area. These beliefs have made the cave a sacred site for local people and visitors who come to pay respect and ask for blessings.

 

Beyond Tham Saeng Kaeo, visitors can walk toward the northern side of Phu Sing to find Tham Phra, another beautiful cave with a hermit statue at the entrance and several Buddha images inside. Their descendants later found them in the cave. Today, the cave contains statues of the old couple and an area for lighting incense and candles. From Mueang Amnat Charoen, travel to the Lao Phruan Subdistrict Administrative Organization office, then turn left and continue for about 6 km to Wat Tham Saeng Kaeo. Since the temple is located in a hill and cave area, visitors should travel during daylight hours, wear comfortable shoes, and walk carefully on natural stone surfaces.
