Wat Luang is located at 212 Moo 3, Ban Khum, Luang Nuea Subdistrict, Ngao District, Lampang Province 52110. It is a local Buddhist temple under the Mahanikaya order and is one of the old temples of Ngao District. The temple has long served as a spiritual center for the communities of Ban Khum and Ban Don Chai, especially during important Buddhist holy days and traditional ceremonies.
